Porous materials dried instead of removed
Drywall and insulation that absorbed contaminated water are meant to come out. Drying them in place is faster and is the most common shortcut in the trade.
Equipment billing that doesn't match the site
These jobs are invoiced per machine per day. Photographs with timestamps are frequently the only way to check what was actually running, and for how long.

What to do about it
Document what you were promised and what you got, keep every invoice and message, and photograph everything before anyone “fixes” it. Whatever route you take from there, whether talking to the business yourself, a licensed attorney, or us, the case rests on that record.
