When a contractor takes your money and the work isn't right
We take on the dispute for you: building the file, putting it to the business, and escalating it as far as it needs to go.
What this usually looks like
A contractor dispute is rarely about whether you are right. It is about how much of your life you are willing to spend proving it. The calls go unreturned, the promised fix keeps slipping a week, and eventually the cost of chasing it starts to look bigger than the money itself.
That calculation is what the business is relying on. Most homeowners who are owed money never pursue it, not because their case was weak but because pursuing it properly is a second job on top of the one they already have.
We do that job instead. You tell us what happened once, and we handle the documentation, the correspondence, and the escalation from there.
The work was never finished
Payment was taken, the crew stopped coming, and the job sits half done. The longer it sits, the more the eventual repair costs.
It was done, and done badly
A roof that leaks, a driveway that cracked in a season, a system that never worked right. The contractor says it is normal wear or your fault.
The warranty turned out to be worthless
A written guarantee that the business now will not honour, or a workmanship warranty that evaporated when you tried to use it.
The final bill did not match the quote
Change orders you never approved, or a number that grew without explanation between the estimate and the invoice.
How it works from here
Read the process for home services for the whole shape of it, or what financial redress means if this is the first you have heard of any of it.
Finding out where you stand costs nothing. There is a charge when we take an advocacy file on, and after that we are only paid out of what we recover.
