Deadlines

Satisfy+ tells you about a date on your home before it passes.

You record a warranty, a tax notice or a car's registration once. As the date gets close, it appears on your Today screen with what to do, so you don't miss it again.

Getting started

Setting up your home gives the app its first dates to watch.

When you add your address, the app looks up the public record and shows you what it found. You confirm or correct each fact, and it takes about three minutes.

Today listing dated reminders
  • Your county links your home to weather alerts.

The app keeps your home's county from the record and uses it to match National Weather Service alerts.

  • A well or septic tank adds its own upkeep.

A home on a well gets a yearly water test, and a septic tank gets a pump-out reminder every three years.

  • Having a fireplace adds a yearly chimney inspection.

The record says whether your home has a fireplace, so you don't have to remember when the chimney was last checked.

  • You decide what's right before anything counts.

Each fact is marked as coming from the public record, and you confirm or change it on the review screen.

Money

These dates cost you money when they pass, and the app watches each one.

On Today
Your assessment appeal window closes soon
  • Register your warranty before the deadline.

When a warranty has to be registered, the deadline stays on Today until you've done it, and an email comes two weeks out.

  • Appeal your assessment before the window closes.

Enter the appeal date from your tax notice. The reminder opens 30 days out and emails you when 14 days are left.

  • Give notice before a contract renews itself.

Mark an agreement as auto-renewing with its notice period, and you hear about it 14 days before notice is due.

  • See it when your assessed value jumps.

When this year's value is more than 10% above last year's, the app points it out so you can decide whether to appeal.

Weather

When the National Weather Service issues an alert for your county, it reaches your Today screen.

The app checks alerts for your home's county several times a day. Each weather reminder clears itself once the alert ends, so Today only shows the weather you're facing now.

A storm prompt for your county
  • A freeze alert reaches you for your home.

A freeze warning, freeze watch or frost advisory for your county puts a reminder on Today.

  • Your car gets its own freeze reminder.

A freeze where your car is registered reaches you with the car's name on it.

  • Storm warnings open the matching checklist too.

Hail, high wind, tropical storm, blizzard, flash flood and red flag warnings each have their own checklist.

Upkeep

The equipment you list decides which upkeep reminders you get.

  • Your furnace or air conditioner gets a yearly service reminder.

It counts a year from the last time you marked it done, so it follows your own schedule.

  • A tank water heater gets its yearly service.

The reminder appears only when a tank water heater is on your equipment list.

  • Test your sump pump once a year too.

The test tells you whether the pump runs on a dry day, before a storm needs it.

  • The dryer vent gets cleaned once a year.

A dryer on your list brings the reminder, and a clear vent keeps lint from building up.

  • Generators and garage door openers get their own yearly service.

Each one appears only after you've added it to your home.

Reminders

How a date reaches you depends on what it costs to miss.

You don't get one email per reminder. The app sorts each date by how much is at stake and picks the channel to match, so the messages you do get are worth opening.

Today listing what needs you
  • Today shows you everything.

Every open prompt sits on your Today screen, soonest first. Open the app and you see the whole picture in one list.

  • The costly dates get their own email.

A warranty registration, a tax appeal window or a car registration emails you once 14 days remain. That leaves time to act.

  • Everything else arrives in one weekly email.

Insurance renewals, inspections and weather prompts are gathered into a single email each week, so your inbox isn't filled one prompt at a time.

  • Upkeep stays on Today.

Filters, yearly service, radon and the fire extinguisher never reach your inbox. They wait on Today until you get to them.

Your answers

Every prompt gives you three answers, and all three are right there.

You never have to dig through a menu to dismiss something. Each answer does something different, so the list stays honest about what's left.

Mark it
Done · Remind me later · Not for me
A prompt with its three buttons
  • Done says you took care of it.

The prompt leaves Today and goes to your history, so you have a record that you handled it.

  • Remind me later brings it back in a week.

Use it when you can't act yet. The prompt leaves Today and returns seven days later.

  • Not for me tells the app it doesn't apply.

Mark a yearly service Not for me and the app stops asking about it for that home.

The full list

Here is every date the app watches for, grouped by what it's about.
