Plans
You start free, and your home is set up before you ever choose a plan.
When you sign up, the app asks where your home is, looks up its public record, and asks you to confirm what it found. You decide on Home+ later, once you know what you need.
The plans
You'll know your plan from the life you keep records for.
Home fits one home and one car.
It's free and keeps the whole record for the home you live in, one car and one project at a time.
Home+ fits a second property.
A rental, a lake house or a parent's place each gets its own record, and you share any of them by email.
Home+ Duo fits a couple.
You and a partner each get Home+ on your own login, and you share the homes you run together.
Home+ Family fits a whole household.
Up to six adults, such as parents and grown children, each get Home+ on their own login.

Home+
Home+ adds four things the free plan doesn't have.

You keep as many homes, projects and vehicles as you have.
A rental, a second car and a kitchen project running beside the roof each get their own record.
You share a home by email.
You choose View, Act or Manage for each person, so everyone who helps sees what they need and changes only what you allow.
You hand a home to its next owner.
You transfer the home and its records to another Home+ member, and you choose whether the cars, loans and policies go with it.
You bring back what you archived.
An archived home or vehicle stays readable, and Home+ makes it active again with its history.
Household
You choose Duo or Family by who runs the home with you.

A couple running one home picks Home+ Duo.
Each of you signs in as yourself, and you share the home so you both manage its records.
Parents with grown children pick Home+ Family.
A grown child away at their first apartment keeps their own records and still acts on the family home's to-dos.
A family caring for a parent picks Home+ Family.
You share the parent's home with a sibling, and each of you manages the areas you look after.
Someone who lives alone stays on Home+.
You still share a home by email with anyone who helps, one role at a time.
The free plan
Home is free with no end date, and it isn't a trial.
You keep one home, one active project and one vehicle for as long as you like. When you archive or sell one, its place opens for the next.

Nothing on the free plan counts down.
Your record never expires, so you add to it at your own pace and it's there whenever you come back.
Set-up runs the same as it does on Home+.
The app looks up your home, decodes your car's VIN and suggests your project's work, whichever plan you're on.
Reminders work on the free plan.
The app watches your warranties, your car's dates and your home's upkeep, and puts what's due on Today.
You view a home someone shares with you.
If a person on Home+ shares their home with you by email, you see it on the free plan.
When Home+ ends
When Home+ ends, nothing you recorded is deleted.

You keep Home+ until your period ends.
When you cancel, Home+ runs to the end of the period you paid for, and nothing more is charged.
One home, one project and one vehicle stay active.
You keep working on those three on the free plan exactly as you did before.
Everything else is archived and stays readable.
You open any archived home, project or car and read it, so its history is there when you need it.
People you shared a home with are paused.
They lose access while you're off Home+, and they get it back when you return.
Home+ brings the rest back.
When you return, you restore an archived home, and the cars kept at it come back with it.
Questions
Here are straight answers to the questions people ask first.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. Home has no end date, and you don't need a card to use it.
Is there a free trial of Home+?
Yes. A new account gets its first month of Home+ free when it signs up on the web.
How do I cancel?
You open Membership in your account and press Cancel membership. Home+ runs to the end of the period you paid for.
What if I own more than one home?
The free plan holds one home. Home+ holds every home you own, and a home someone shares with you never counts.
Can my family use it?
Yes. On Home+ you share a home by email, and Home+ Family gives up to six people their own Home+.
The first month free is for a new account on monthly Home+, started on the web with a card. Home+ then renews automatically until you cancel. You see the price and terms in the app before any payment is taken.
You start free by telling the app where your home is.
In about three minutes, it finds your home's public record and you confirm what it found. You upgrade in the app whenever you want more.
